Oooohhhh, MORE Sharks...

This is the shit right here:

Monterey Bay Aquarium has a Great White pup.

For those of you who don't know, I have a strong interest in the apex predators of the deep. They scare the living bejeezus out of me, and I cannot get enough of it. This GW pup, in captivity, for me to see, is cooler than a weekend in Bangkok with Master P.

Call me nuts. Thas coo by me.

So anyone going to Monterey any time soon? Let a brutha know!

Word.

(tight syncopation, tight scheme... Sean noticed)

I know, I know. It will be soooooo badass to see this shark... I cannot express how amazing that will be for me.

My only fear is that she will get sick, or experience too much stress from captivity and have to be released before I can get there to see her. But, if that happens, so be it. Better her health than my exploratory entertainment.

I am not obsessed with sharks but I do have a weird natural body of water phobia that I think is pseudo related to sharks (or mechanical ones as it seems, but i'll get to that in a minute.) I have one major fear. I'm completely convinced that at some point in my life while i'm swimming in an ocean, lake, river, what have you, I will run into a dead body. I'll dive into lake travis in the middle of july and think to myself, "oh, this feels nice, wonder when i'm gonna hit a dead person..." What does this have to do with sharks? I think I watched "JAWS" when i was wayyyy too young. Scarred me for life.

Sidenote: I've been to the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

That is... really creepy, Melanie. That's okay though. I can feel the fear of a shark attack even while swimming in an indoor pool. In Kansas. Two feet deep.

Yeh, that bad sometimes. Fucking worthless phobia.
